Micro Force -Velosio Newsletter June 2020 - Dynamics GP, COVID-19 and Working From Home

Updated: Mar 24, 2021

Greetings!

As we ease our way towards Summer, we look forward to continuing to provide you with various offerings to help you and your team get the most from your Microsoft Dynamics GP business software system. With the Covid-19 virus pandemic continuing, we are all still dealing with a “new normal” even as we adjust to significant changes in how we work. Changes that often require improvements to how we use to perform tasks in our offices, due to our social distancing as well as our desire to keep each other safe. Since we have the privilege of servicing so many clients like yourself, I thought it may be comforting to hear that every one of our clients that we have spoken with in the past few months is experiencing many of the same challenges. This newsletter is devoted to sharing what has been working for our Dynamics GP users who have been displaced from their offices.

Is Your Dynamics GP System in the Cloud Yet?

At Micro Force, we can answer yes to this question. We moved to the cloud a few years ago. So when the Coronavirus displaced us from our local offices in NYC and Long Island, we were able to continue to work in all our applications as we did when we were in our offices. This includes our use of Dynamics GP and all the Microsoft office products.

Your Dynamics GP system can either be used while on local equipment at your office or in the cloud. When in the cloud, GP users can access the business software system from any device, either from your home or office. Laptop or Smartphone. All you need is a device and an internet connection.

We have helped a number of our clients the past few years move to a cloud environment. If you are not in the cloud today, we would love the opportunity to help you in your digital transformational journey. Just email sales@micro-force.com or call your account rep to schedule a call about this topic.

Support For Your Great Plains Version

As a Great Plains user who is current on your Microsoft annual maintenance plan, you are also entitled to the latest version of your business software system for no additional licensing cost. Your only cost for an upgrade would be our Micro Force services to assist you and your team in getting the latest version of your Microsoft business software system in place. Feel free to reach out to your primary contact or sales@micro-force.com to begin this process.

The most recent version of GP that was released in December 2019 and is named GP 2019.
